Texas in Revolt – 1835,” is a SALHA Event in Kirby, TX, November 2, 2019.
The Texas Revolution re-enactments go beyond the battlefield as living history reenactors from across Texas setup Texian, Tejano and Mexican army encampments at opposite ends of Friendship Park and offer demonstrations of 19th-century life.

Hosted by the City of Kirby, the San Antonio Living History Association recreates two opening battles of the Texas Revolution.  Both the October 28, 1835, Battle of Concepción and the November 26, 1835, Grass Fight reenactments are presented to the public during the 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM free event.
School teachers are invited to bring their students for a unique historical and educational experience.

NOTE: SALHA and other reenactors planning to participate in this event should register at www.salha.org.  Close to the event date, return to the website and or email salivinghistoryevents@gmail.com for the latest reenactor event information.
