Living History Event Registration
Living history reenactors, both veteran and new, are invited to register for all SALHA living history events. For planning purposes and information, please register ahead of the event. To participate, complete the event registration form: Google Form - Coming Soon.
Student Community Service Hours
For Students: High school and college students of all interests are welcome to contact SALHA to volunteer for events and projects that will issue credit for their community service hours. To find out more and how to volunteer, Community Service Hours Form (Google Form) - Coming Soon.
Upcoming CPE Course Events

Fall 2025 — Zoom Session:
Virtual Zoom Meeting and independent work focused on lectures, readings, and discussions.
Includes: Introduction to the Texas Revolution and Tejano contributions, and a discussion of living history techniques and their use in classrooms. -
Fall 2025 — Field Craft Session:
Guided tour of historic sites significant to San Antonio's founding history, settlements, people, and landmarks dating back to the Spanish Colonial Era.
The tour visits Main Plaza/Plaza de las Islas Canarias, San Fernando Cathedral, and the Spanish Governors Palace. At the Casa Navarro State Historic Site, the tour will include a hands-on lesson in making adobe bricks and a flintlock arms demonstration.
